Wikispaces

My experience with wikispaces is positive. there are lot of advantages:

-Students develop technological skills.
-Safety and encouragement to acquire a new role outside the physical classroom.
-It´s a good tool to motivate your students.
-Working in groups it´s good to get people together.
-Is a way to give big amount of material to your students.
-Increase the responsibility of your students because their actions are publics.

On the other hand, a few disadvantages:

-Bandwidth.
-The student if only depends on education through the web can feel lonely.
-Unit-technology could be a high cost and a system crash can supose a "cost" more.

To learn more about using wikis in education I recommended the next link and my own wiki.

Web 2.0

The infrastructure of Web 2.0 is related to new ICT technologies that have made it easier to publish and share information with other Web sites. In terms of teaching application I see a number of advantages:

-Increased communication with students and teachers.
-Greater control over the learning and development processes.
-Use of dynamic material, multimedia material, in my opinion, is a greater motivation for the student.
-Interaction with students from different cities, countries, allowing an exchange of experiences and knowledge of cultures and values of people from different geographical locations.

As well as a number of disadvantages:

-Bandwidth.
-The student if only depends on education through the web can feel lonely.
Unit-technology could be a high cost and a system crash can supose a "cost" more.

In conclusion, I believe it should be a resource to develop knowledge in the classroom, but never replace the teacher and partners.

Google

Google Docs is an online document managerAllows you to upload any documents to your Google account and from there arrange them intofolders and create links to insert into your blog or website.

In this way, Google Docs becomes a kind of virtual hard disk. You just need an Internet connection. Be able to access students, parents and / or teachers to those documents that you want to share. As you can imagine, yourself or your students can create presentations, text documents with images (web style), databases, spreadsheets and so on. And then you can link to your blog or your students and see them from there to work in class.

It's simple, students can create a Gmail account and then upload their documents as classroom work. Or create a single account and from thereup the whole class activities even inserting into a collective blog.

The teacher can use Google Docs to upload all their documents in the classroom (exercises, work, suggestions, scores, schedules, etc.). Google ensures the privacy of your configuration data and user preferences. You can allow anyone you want access to your documents.

On the other hand we find Google Scholar search engine specialized inscientific journal articles, focused on academics. We found two examples related to TIC.

As if this were not enough we have another resource called Google books, can you guess what kind of searches we can find? Do you want to read Don Quixote in English? Talking about reading, I leave an interesting link, where not everyonespeaks highly of Google on the violation of neutrality, freedom of accessand expression on the network to safeguard their own interests "The dark side of Google".

Is not that enough? Well, there's more, Google Reader allows you to organize and quickly access from a Web interface to all news pageconfigured in the system supported. We can sobscribe for example to "El País" ? ¡"RRS to singing"! It´s better to watch the next video:

Fce Blog by Caudia Ceraso

The blog is structured in entries focused on a single topic. They are a collection of notes made by the teacher or a kind of mini digital library. To have all those books on their own shelves would have a prohibitive cost. Students do not tend to go to the library to search for that kind of learning material either. It is usually the teacher who decides what to bring to the classroom. Although it takes a lot of initiative and learning autonomy to study on your own, this blog allows them to make an intermediate step: it’s as if they visited the library with me or as if I went with them to the bookstore to help them choose what to read. From a distance.
That is how The FCE Blog was born, which introduces itself as “An afterclass meeting point for all First Certificate in English students”.

Some of these are Educaplay, you can create a number of exercises and insert them into blogs and wikis. These include puzzles, crossword puzzles, Word search, fill in texts, dialogues, dictations. On the other hand, Tildee allows easily create a step by step tutorial for almost anything. You can add text, maps, videos and photos. No need to register for the service to create the tutorial. I think it's great for both teachers and students themselves to create tutorials.
